CANDIDOZ Assimilated Three-dimensional Ozone (CATO)

Welcome to the home of the CATO data set. This page is currently (Aug 2006) under construction. Here we will provide up to date information on this new data set of the vertical distribution of ozone in the stratosphere between 1979 and 2004 which was reconstructed from satellite total ozone observations using a novel method. Updates of the data set will also be posted here.

The statistical reconstruction method is described in the following paper:
