This page is meant for master students of atmospheric and climate science who need the course «atmospheric physics» as part of their admission requirements. The course must be held in German because it is a third-year bachelor element. If you only speak English or you want to be flexible as to when to catch up with this course, we offer a package of slides from the course. This allows you to prepare this course whenever you want. This offer also holds for students in a mobility semester who want to remotely follow the course.

If you like to do so please download the slides package and go through all slides in about 30 minutes to get a feeling on how much you already know and to estimate how much of an effort it will be for you to learn the material yourself. We also recommend the book of Rogers and Yau «A short course in cloud microphysics».

Then we see two possibilities for how to evaluate your semester performance.

Please have a glance at the slides as indicated and let us know which possibility you want to pursue.
