The guiding principle of this course is that students can understand the different factors involved in hurricane formation and predict if hurricanes increase in a warmer climate
This course consists of 3 contact hours (2 lectures + 1 tutorial) per weeks and is taught by Ulrike Lohmann.
The tutorials will be held after the lecture (tuesdays) from 12h-12h45 in the same room - CHN E 46 or on a different date of your choice to keep your lunch break free if there is a room available. To find an optional date, please fill out the following doodle survey: Doodlelink.

The teaching assistants for this course are Luisa Ickes, Kasja Witlox and Monika Kohn.
Marks will be based on a 2-hour written exam for which the assignments are a strongly recommended (see lecture notes of the first lecture for more details).
