Please follow this link for the course information retrieved from the ETH semester programme.
The Master's thesis will typically cover the last term of the programme. The thesis is supervised by a professor or associate professor teaching a module course. One of the main learning goals is to advance your ability to work autonomously, conceptually and scientifically within a current research project. Typically you would choose a subject related to the choice of your modules to be best prepared for the thesis. You will finalise your thesis with a written report and an oral presentation.
Some master's theses projects are offered on our group pages and through a a data base of the department of environmental sciences. You can certainly look at other institutions such as Meteoswiss, WSL and Agroscope.
Please note that our institute is closely collaborating with the Swiss Society for Meteorology (SSM). You are invited to visit their website and present your project there.
ETH offers travel allowances for individual journeys which are closely associated with a course of study program. Find out more here
SCNAT offers funding for travels related to your Master's thesis. More information is available here.
