SwissSMEX measurements:

• Continuous measurements of soil moisture and temperature with ten-minute original, and aggregated hourly and daily temporal resolution.
• Soil moisture from gravimetric measurements sampled during site set-up and maintenance
• Soil characteristics: grain-size distribution, water retention curve (for each horizon at each site)

Pre-existing measurements (available from the data owners of the weather stations, see sites):

• All sites include meteorological measurements; some include additional measurements (radiation, lysimeter, eddy-covariance flux measurements)
