This project aims at producing a complete mass budget of the Greenland ice sheet, including accumulation and ablation due to melting and calving at the front of outlet glaciers. Whenever possible, direct measurements are used, but auxiliary data ranging from satellite observations to so-called re-analyses are also considered. The work is carried out in cooperation with Dr. Eric Rignot at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
