Dealiasing of Doppler velocities

Doppler radars as the one installed at ETH Hönggerberg not only observe the reflectivity (echo power) but also the radial component of the echo movement. This so-called Doppler velocity is folded (aliased) wherever the radial velocity exceeds the Nyquist velocity. A correction or(dealiasing) algorithm must be applied as the one developed at the institute.
