IAC member Wim Thiery on Forbes 30 under 30 Europe's list
Congratulations to Wim Thiery, who is part of the Forbes 30 under 30 Europe class of 2017! Wim is a member of the Land-climate dynamics group and has been appointed in early January as assistant professor at the VUB university in Brussels.
Wim works on land-climate interactions in climate models, with a focus on irrigation, water resources and lakes, and their impacts on regional to global climate. He is the recipient of an ETH fellowship and will continue with a 50% employment at ETH until June 2018, in parallel to his new professorship at the VUB.
