Current Research

• Beijing Olympics as an aerosol experiment
  The Beijing OIympics provided a unique opportunity for studying the effects of regional air pollution control measures on atmospheric aerosol. The effect was small but clear.
• Tracing fog from 36000km out
  Fog impacts on human activities in various ways: As an obstacle to traffic, as a source of water and as an inspiration for poetry. Satellite data can be used to detect and monitor fog from space.
