I am a scientific programmer in the modeling part of the Atmospheric Physics group led by Prof. Ulrike Lohmann.

ECHAM-HAMMOZ activities:

• ECHAM-HAMMOZ maintenance, development, distribution

• setup and administration of the HAMMOZ redmine platform and of the HAMMOZ svn repository

• shell scripting to help run the code and ease platform switching

• code porting to various platforms

• user support

• running of experiments (mixed-layer ocean simulations -see movie-, tuning, code validation, ...)

Data processing

• shell scripting to analyse and plot model output

• observational data processing for model validation

Multi-annual means over 30 years of equilibrium from mixed-layer ocean simulations. The right column shows the effect of imposing pre-industrial aerosol emissions (Pre-Industrial) relative to present-day conditions (CTRL), while the left column shows the effect of doubling the CO₂ emissions (2xCO₂) relative to present-day conditions.
