Currently I am a Postdoctoral Fellow (funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation) in the Department for Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics at Columbia University, New York

I was a Postdoc in the Atmospheric Chemistry Group at IAC-ETH till summer 2011.

From 11/2007- 11/2010 I did my PhD thesis at IAC-ETH on the topic "Extreme events in total ozone on local, regional and global scale - Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Johannes Staehelin

funded within CCES-EXTREMES [Spatial extremes and environmental sustainability - Statistical methods and applications in geophysics and the environment]

Stratospheric Ozone, UV-Radiation, Bioclimatology, Extreme Event Analysis, Time Series Analysis, Extremal Value Theory, Physical and Statistical Modelling
