Since 1 April 2008 I am working for the cat perils team of Swiss Re. E-mails to my ETH address are forwarded to my new coordinates.
I am developing the new loss model and probabilistic tropical cyclone model and collaborating with universities as a lecturer and in research projects (typically related to natural catastrohpes in a changing climate as well as adaptation studies). Current committments are in the ECA study (Economics of Climate Adaptation and follow-ups) and decadal climate predictions (DeCliPS).
For the teaching duties I keep at ETH, please refer to the programme.
