• SCOUT-O3 (Stratosphere-climate links with emphasis on the upper troposphere, lower stratosphere)
• CANDIDOZ (Chemical and Dynamical Influences on Decadal Ozone Change): EU project looking at the evolution of stratospheric ozone and more specifically at ozone recovery using a suite of long-term observations and different models such as multiple linear regression tools and chemistry-transport-models.
• SPURT (Spurengastransport in der Tropopausenregion): Measurements of a large number of long-lived tracers from a small jet aircraft (Learjet) reaching up to 14 km.
• TRADEOFF (Aircraft emissions: Contribution of different climate components to changes in radiative forcing - TRADEOFF to reduce atmospheric impact): Modelling project involving five Chemistry Transport Models (CTMs) and two General Circulation Models (GCMs).
• NOXAR (Measurement of Nitrogen Oxides and Ozone along Air Routes): More than 1 year of continuous measurements from a Swissair B-747 airliner in the upper troposphere and the lower stratosphere.
• POLINAT II (Pollution from Aircraft Emissions in the North Atlantic Flight Corridor): EU aircraft measurement project to study the impact of aircraft emissions upon the atmosphere.

• GUBRIST tunnel study: Measurement of emission factors, in particular speciated hydrocarbons, from road traffic in a Swiss highway tunnel.
