Description

This one-day symposium brought together several of Tom Peter’s distinguished colleagues working on aerosols and greenhouse gases in a changing world.  It addressed the development of our understanding of particulate matter and gases with respect to their importance for climate and air quality.  Ranging from changes in surface emissions of natural and anthropogenic precursors to effects of aerosols and gases on the Earth’s radiation budget or on stratospheric ozone, the presentations described our current knowledge and suggested priorities of future research.
