Prospective Students:
PhD students are required to have a Masters degree for admission to the USYS PhD program. You can find more information here.

Atmospheric Chemistry is inherently mutli-disciplinary so graduate students come from a variety of backgrounds in the physical sciences, including physics, chemistry, engineering, meteorology, environmental or earth science. For our research we are looking for candidates with a solid math background, programming experience, and a Masters degree in related research.

PhD openings are advertised on our group website, the IAC website, and through other online resources. The first PhD positions in the group will be advertised in late 2024.

Prospective Postdocs/Researchers:
We are often looking for talented, motivated researchers to join our group. Individuals with experience in atmospheric chemistry modeling are a particular asset to the group. Opportunities are generally advertised on the group website and other online resources (including the ES-jobs list). If you will be completing your PhD in the coming year and would be interested in discussing opportunities in our group, you are encouraged to contact Colette Heald with a CV and list of interests early in your search.
